Gloucestershire is currently at the fourth place in the points table having won four and losing three with 9 points also. On the other hand, Glamorgan is placed second from the bottom of the points table with two wins and five defeats alongside 5 points in their name as well.
Gloucestershire reached the fourth spot after beating Sussex by just 4 runs in the end. Glenn Phillips’s 66 and skipper Jack Taylor’s 46 helped Gloucestershire post 145 runs on the board before Sussex’s innings were restricted to 141 despite a fighting knock from Tom Alsop who scored a 52-ball 82. David Payne and Zak Chappell claimed three wickets each as well. On the other hand, Hampshire defended 134 against Glamorgan and won by 9 runs too. James Vince and Joe Weatherley’s 44 and 46* runs took Hampshire to 134 before the bowlers struck. Brad Wheal registered a fifer (5-38) and sealed the deal for Glamorgan.
