On Saturday, June 18, Derbyshire will take on Yorkshire in the T20 Blast Nouth Group at the Queen’s Park in Chesterfield. Derbyshire is placed at fifth in the points table with four wins and four defeats alongside 8 points in their name as well. On the other hand, Yorkshire is currently at the third in the points table having won four games and losing three with 8 points also.
Derbyshire registered a 39-run win over Worcestershire. Asked to bat, Derbyshire managed to post a decent total of 168 on the board on the back of the opener Shan Masood’s 47-ball 65. While Minus Brett D’Oliveira (55) and Jack Haynes’s 35 tried their best, it wasn’t enough as no other batter could reach the double figures as Derbyshire struck at regular intervals to restrict them within 129/9 in their 20 overs and win the match.

On the other hand, Yorkshire registered a comfortable 10-wicket win over Warwickshire in Birmingham, chasing down 102 runs in just 12.5 overs. The bowlers did exceptionally well as Warwickshire couldn’t manage to stay long in the middle. Chris Benjamin (26), Adam Hose (20) and Jake Lintott (16) were the only ones who could manage to score before being bowled out in 16.5 overs. Openers Adam Lyth (58) and Dawid Malan (38) then took the team home without any hurdles as well.
