But an unusual incident broke out during the T20 Blast 2022 match between Lancashire and Yorkshire. Yorkshire were chasing a total of 184 runs with Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Harry Brook playing pivotal knocks to keep them alive in the chase. The final over turned out to be dramatic as Richard Gleeson conceded 12 runs off it and the match ended in a tie.

The final over also saw a funny incident break out as Dane Vilas lost his trousers while fielding. The incident took place in the penultimate delivery of the Yorkshire innings as Vilas was trying to dive to complete a catch after Shadab skied a mis-timed shot off a high full toss bowled by Glesson. The funny scenario even left the commentators in splits as one of them said: “The catch went down and he lost his trousers, Dane Vilas. It is all happening.”
Lancashire batted first and posted 183/7 in 20 overs after Philip Salt played a knock of 59 runs off 41 balls. Yorkshire, meanwhile, failed to chase down the total as the match resulted in a tie with no Super Over in play. The teams are a part of the North Group table in the T20 Blast 2022. Yorkshire are at the second spot while Lancashire are seventh.
