Everyone was impressed by Suryakumar Yadav’s scorching performance at the 2022 T20 World Cup. The right-handed batter scored a staggering total of 239 runs at a strike rate of 189.68 in six games. Even though Team India’s T20 World Cup campaign came to a dismal conclusion with a 10-wicket loss to England in the semifinal, Suryakumar stood out as one of the team’s key assets under Rohit Sharma. Team India is preparing for the next three-match T20I and ODI series against New Zealand starting on November 18 after exiting the ICC mega event.

Suryakumar on Twitter and wrote, ” Hello Wellington”, which showed his excitement for the white-ball series against the Kiwis, as the first clash of the T20Is will be played in Wellington. However, the story took a hilarious turn when Australian spinner Amanda Wellington wrote “Hello Yadav” in reply.

THE TWEET quickly went viral, as fans were left in stitches after witnessing the Australian cricketer’s funny side. The three-match Twenty20 International series against New Zealand will be played in Wellington, Mount Maunganui, and Napier. Following the white-ball series against New Zealand, Team India will face Bangladesh in a three-match One-Day International (ODI) and two-match Test series beginning December 7.

Hardik Pandya will captain India in T20Is in New Zealand, while Shikhar Dhawan will captain the team in ODIs. Meanwhile, experienced players including Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been rested for the tour. However, both players will be included in the squad for the ODIs and Tests against Bangladesh, which will be led by Rohit Sharma.
