Quetta Gladiators vs Peshawar Zalmi, 9th Match, PSL 2023: LIVE Streaming, When and Where to Watch, Probable Playing XI, Squads

Peshawar Zalmi will lock horns with Quetta Gladiators on the 19th of February at the National Stadium Karachi. Babar Azam was drafted into the Peshawar Zalmi for the 2023 edition of the PSL and he will lead the side as well, Wahab Riaz will be the vice-captain and the team has some exciting players like Tom Kohler Cadmore, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Rovman Powell, and Mujeeb Ur Rehman are some other international stars to keep an eye on. Jimmy Neesham and Sherfane Rutherford are coming in fresh from the SA20 League the ILT20 leagues. Peshawar Zalmi has been a very consistent team for the past few seasons but hasn’t been able to go all the way to lift the trophy, they will be hoping for a change in fortune this year.

Former Pakistan skipper, Sarfaraz Ahmed will lead the Quetta Gladiators in this season as well. England’s Jason Roy has been their best batter so far in the tournament. The likes of Martin Guptill and Iftikhar Ahmed are also available meaning the line-up is not lacking in firepower, Guptill scored a magnificent 100 last game and too his team over the line. Naseem Shah will be a huge part of the Gladiators’ attack, he has done exceeding well in the last couple of seasons, even this year he has performed exceedingly well. Hasnain is another player who has delivered goods at crucial junctures of the game. Quetta has a brilliant spin attack as well, Hasaranga and Mohammad Nawaz will do the bulk of the bowling in middle overs.

Quetta Gladiators faced a heavy defeat in their first match against the Multan Sultans where they lost by 9 wickets but managed to win the next game. They would come out all guns blazing in tomorrow’s encounter and look to add to the tally of points. Zalmi batting looks slightly weak and they would be making some changes to the Playing XI, as they have a very strong bench. The National Stadium in Karachi will be hosting this game and will be home to the Quetta Gladiators in this encounter.
