Punjab Kings (PBKS) are all set to take on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in match number 27 of the Indian Premier League 2023 (IPL 2023). However, RCB are coming off a close eight-run loss to Chennai Super Kings, while Punjab Kings won their last match against Lucknow Super Giants. This is going to be a crucial match for both RCB & PBKS as they look to build on the winning momentum in the IPL 2023 season a swell.
However, RCB have played four games at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, and their bowlers only bowled well against Delhi Capitals and failed to leave a mark in most of the games. RCB bowlers conceded more than 200 runs against LSG and CSK. But, they would be eager to turn things around this time at Mohali as well. While Wanindu Hasaranga is yet to step up for RCB, he would be trying to put on a better display as well. Meanwhile, RCB batters have looked in great touch with the big three Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, and Glenn Maxwell stepping up with the bat. It is the middle-order that looks fragile, and the team would be banking on Dinesh Karthik to play a finisher’s role in the IPL 2023.

On the other hand, PBKS would be hoping to get Shikhar Dhawan to be fully fit. The veteran missed the last game against LSG due to an injury. Meanwhile, Liam Livingstone’s fitness will also be one area Punjab Kings would be having a close look at as well. However, a thrilling contest is on the cards for fans.
The 27th match of the IPL 2023 will be played between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Mohali. It is one of the best wickets going around in India, providing equal help to batters and bowlers as well. However, spinners get good help on this deck. Since it is a day game, the pitch will get a bit slower as the game progresses and chasing can be an issue too.
