The rescheduled West Indies tour of Pakistan will get underway with the first of three-match ODI series, from June 8. The entire series will be played at the Multan International Cricket Stadium. The series was initially scheduled for December 2021 but due to Covid-19 complications emerging among the West Indies team and support staff, it was rescheduled for June 2022.

The matches were initially supposed to take place in Rawalpindi but due to the heat the matches were moved to Multan. Temperatures are expected to reach the high forties in the city in Southern Punjab, and as a remedy, all matches will begin at 4pm local time to avoid the heat. Pakistan will hold their training camp in Lahore from June 1, before moving to Multan on June 5 while the West Indies squad will arrive in Islamabad on June 6, before travelling to Multan on a charter flight.
