Pakistan will face New Zealand in the second Test match on January 2 at the National Stadium Karachi. Pakistan was finally able to end their losing trend with a draw in the last match, thanks to solid all-round performances that can aid generate momentum in this series. New Zealand, on the other hand, will continue their sequence of draws to begin the season in order to build up to their defensive style of play, which may frustrate the opponent in this extended format of the game. The series is now deadlocked at 0-0 after the first match finished in a stalemate. Babar Azam took the audacious decision to declare with 15 overs remaining, setting New Zealand a target of 138.
