Pakistan will face Hong Kong in their second Asia Cup 2022 group stage match at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday. Both Pakistan and Hong Kong, who qualified for the continental event through the qualifiers, lost their inaugural game. A win for any of the two sides will make their case stronger to qualify for the Super 4.

Pakistan began their campaign in the Asia Cup 2022 with a five-wicket loss to India while Hong Kong lost their inaugural contest against the Rohit Sharma-led side by 40 runs. Pakistan are the stronger side on paper but Hong Kong showed that they can fight back in their first match.
