Bangladesh Women are on the New Zealand tour for a three-match T20I series, followed by a three-match ODI series. New Zealand Women will take on Bangladesh Women in the second game at the University Oval in Dunedin on Sunday, December 4. New Zealand Women registered a mammoth 132-run win over Bangladesh Women in the first T20I after posting 164/3 before bundling out Bangladesh Women for just 32 runs. New Zealand Women are currently placed in the third position on the ICC Women’s T20I rankings while Bangladesh Women are currently placed in the ninth spot on the rankings.

These two teams have played two matches against each other in this format so far and New Zealand Women have gone on to win on both occasions. New Zealand Women’s batter Brooke Halliday has been ruled out of the remainder of the series due to a hand injury. Opener Rebecca Burns has been called into the squad for the remaining two T20Is. Both teams will be looking to get their combinations right with the T20 World Cup to be held next year. The second ODI promises to be an entertaining one, Bangladesh Women will be desperate to bounce back and level the series, while the white ferns will be looking to continue with the winning momentum.
