New Zealand will meet Afghanistan in match 21 of the T20 WC 2022 at the MCG on October 26th. The competition will be held in Australia from October 16 to November 23. The tournament was supposed to begin in July 2020, however owing to Covid-19, it was pushed back to 2022.

The defending champions for the T20 World Cup 2022 are Australia, with heavyweights such as India, England, and Pakistan poised to make the event more challenging. The twelve teams that advanced to the Super 12 stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2021 automatically qualified for the tournament in 2022.
