And, veteran speedster Mohammed Shami is one of them who has been a pillar of the Indian pace department for the last few years as well. He was born in Amroha (Uttar Pradesh) on the 3rd of September, 1990. He played domestic cricket for West Bengal and was selected for the national team in 2013 when he made his ODI debut against Pakistan on the 6th January 2013 while he made his debut in the longer format against the West Indies in November 2013 as well.

However, Mohammed Shami is known for his accurate line and length while bowling. Moreover, he can do reverse swings also. In 57 tests, Shami has taken 212 wickets with the best bowling figures of 6/56 and in 79 ODIs he has picked up 148 wickets with best figures of 5/69 as well. Shami took a hattrick during the 2019 World Cup and became only the second Indian bowler after Chetan Sharma to do so in a World Cup. He has played for many IPL teams – Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Daredevils, Punjab Kings and he is currently playing for Gujarat Titans as well.
