In the 21st match of the Big Bash League 2022-23, Sydney Sixers will lock horns with Melbourne Renegades at the Simonds Stadium in Geelong. We are heading into the business end of the tournament and every point is crucial for both teams. Sydney Sixers won their previous match against the Melbourne Renegades by 34 runs, they have found the winning momentum after losing their first few encounters. The three-time champions and the winner of the inaugural edition, are currently placed in the 4th position on the points table with 6 points. Josh Phillipe and Hayden Kerr have been the stand-out performers for the men in magenta.
On the other hand, the Renegades have had a dream start to their BBL 12 campaign, winning their first three games convincingly but they went on to lose their next two matches and are now placed on the 4th position on the points table.
