After scoring his third three-figure knock in the two-match ICC World Test Championship (WTC) series against the West Indies, Australia batter Marnus Labuschagne has reinforced his place at the top of the ICC Men’s Test Player Rankings with a career-best 937 rating points. Labuschagne, who had already scored a double-century and a century in the same Test in Perth last week, notched 163 in the opening innings of the second Test in Adelaide, breaking his previous record of 936 rating points set in March. The 28-year-old currently has a 62-point lead over second-placed Steve Smith and is equal with Virat Kohli for the 11th-best rating points in the list’s history.

Travis Head is back in the top ten after his Player of the Match performance of 175 and 38 not out enabled his team to secure a 419-run triumph over the West Indies to maintain their lead in the WTC points table.
