West Indies player Kyle Mayers was born on 8th September 1992. He is also a regular player of Barbados and he was also in the West Indies under-19 squad for the 2012 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup as well. In February 2021, he made his Test debut and hit an unbeaten 210. In June 2020, Mayers was named as one of eleven reserve players in the West Indies Test team, for the series against England. In July 2020, he was included in the Barbados Tridents squad for the 2020 Caribbean Premier League whereas, in October 2020, he had made his T20I debut for the West Indies on 29th November 2020, against New Zealand.
He scored an unbeaten 210 and became the sixth batsman to score a double century on his Test debut as well and he also helped his side to a successful chase of 395. However, in February 2022, Lucknow Super Giants bought him for the 2022 Indian Premier League as well. On 27th March 2022, Kyle Mayers picked up his first test match five-wicket haul against England, in the second innings of the third test. However, he also finished with figures of five for eighteen and he claimed seven wickets in the match as well.
