KL Rahul celebrates his 30th birthday on Monday (April 18) just days after he smashed a brilliant century in the ongoing Indian Premier League. However, fans and many members of the cricket fraternity took to social media and wished him on this special occassion. KL Rahul is one of the finest batters across formats in recent times.
Having an orthodox technique and brilliant shots in his kitty, he can smash centuries in Test cricket and also in T20s as well. However, he was considered a Test match specialist early in his career. He made his Test debut during India’s 2014-15 tour of Australia, where he smashed a century in his very second Test in Sydney. And, then became a key player in white-ball cricket as well.
Currently, KL Rahul is leading Lucknow Super Giants in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. LSG has been playing a great brand of cricket, winning four of their first six games as well. Captain Rahul has also been consistent with the bat for his side’s success. He even hit a match-winning century against five-time champions Mumbai Indians in his last match as well.
