Experienced top-order batter Manish Pandey will only add to their batting strength and can chip in with important cameos while all-rounder Marcus Stoinis, Krunal Pandya and Jason Holder will be key to help their side post massive totals or chase down targets with ease.

Rising India leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi, meanwhile, will be an asset for the Lucknow franchise and Rahul will know how to handle him well and get the best out of him as he had captained him earlier for Punjab Kings.

Lucknow Super Giants strengths

Lucknow Super Giants have an all-round unit and especially their batting line-up looks good enough to put massive totals on board. The line-up is filled with proven talents who can make the side a contender for the IPL title in their maiden season.

Lucknow Super Giants weaknesses

However, having said that, their major weakness lies in their bench strength. The Lucknow-franchise might sort out their best playing XI but in a long and grueling season any form of injuries or other medical emergencies to their star players can cause major concern to their set-up.

Moreover, the pace attack, which consists of Englishman Mark Wood and India’s Avesh Khan doesn’t look up to the mark which makes the department their major weak point.
