The 16th match of the Lanka Premier League 2022 promises to be a thriller, Kandy Falcons and Colombo Stars will battle it out at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Saturday, the 17th of December. The Stars have won three out of their six matches earning six points and putting them in the third position, Kandy Falcons, on the other hand, are the table-toppers with five wins with ten points. Angelo Mathews will lead the Colombo and Wanindu Hasaranga will be taking charge of the Kandy Falcons.
In the previous games, Kandy Falcons defeated Jaffna by 10 runs, while Colombo handed Dambulla Aura a heavy loss by bundling them out for 89 and then chasing the score under 12 overs.
