Women’s T20I Tri-Series 2022 will be played in Ireland from July 16, Saturday. Ireland, Australia and Pakistan will be featured in 6 matches in a round-robin format at the Bready Cricket Club, Bready in Northern Ireland. However, this tournament will give a great platform to prepare them for the all-important Commonwealth Games 2022 as Women’s Cricket has been included in the marquee event this season and all the teams are preparing to give their best as well.
However, in the fourth game of the competition, Ireland women will take on the Australia women on July 21, Thursday. After playing against each other in the second game of the tournament, both teams will try to give their best as well. While Ireland registered a 10-run victory in their first T20 against South Africa last month, world cup title holder Australia have played just one completed T20I in 2022, cruising to a nine-wicket win against England while chasing down 170 in 17 overs. And, the final two T20Is of the multi-format Ashes were washed out as well. Meanwhile, Australia have an unbeaten record against Ireland in T20Is and it will interesting to see how they perform.
