After suffering a loss to Rajasthan Royals, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will now host Punjab Kings (PBKS) on April 30 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai as well. Meanwhile, after suffering a defeat in their last match, CSK have moved down in the IPL Points Table and they are currently fourth while Punjab aren’t in a good position too as they are sixth on the table with eight points from eight matches so far.
As far as PBKS are concerned, they gave away 257 runs against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their last game. With this, their bowling unit came under the scanner and they will be under a lot of pressure against CSK as they will try to win again. However, Artharva Taide stepped up in the game against LSG and that will boost his confidence in the upcoming games as well. CSK, meanwhile, will hope that the duo of Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad maintain to do well with the bat while Tushar Deshpande has also done reasonably well with the ball. And, a cracking game can be expected.
