Star Sports is going to broadcast IPL LIVE in as many as 8 languages-- Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, and Marathi.
With the IPL 2021 just a few days away, and the first match between MI vs RCB aching to kick off, official broadcaster– Star Sports have big plans for the season. Star Sports is going to broadcast IPL LIVE in as many as 8 languages. The official broadcasters are going to have a Multilingual setup that will directly be produced from their headquarter in Mumbai.
Since IPL 2021 is a city/state engaging event, the matches will be broadcasted LIVE on as many as 25 Disney and Star channels in Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, and Marathi language.
The live streaming of the IPL will take place on Disney+Hotstar App. However, it will just be streamed in five languages – English, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil. These perks will only be available to subscribers of Disney+ Hotstar VIP (Rs 399 for 12 months) and Disney+ Hotstar Premium (Rs 1499 for 12 months).
As far as the first match of the IPL between MI vs RCB is concerned, the matches will take place in six regional languages:
