Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were thumped by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. It was their fifth loss in six matches and they are languishing at the bottom of the points table. David Warner’s will face Rajasthan Royals, with both teams looking to make some amends. Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s untimely injury hasn’t done any good to them either. The Royals, on the other, have struggled.

Barring their win over the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), they haven’t looked convincing by any means. In their previous match, Mumbai Indians registered a seven-wicket defeat. Their net run rate of -0.690 is also the worst among the participating teams.

Jos Buttler- Sandeep Sharma

RR is currently very dependent on the English opener Jos Buttler, who has been good. After the departure of Ben Stokes, Buttler needs to step up and score big runs for his team.

Buttler, who played a good knock of 41 in the previous game, would be again looking to deliver the same for his team. Although it is difficult to stop Buttler in full flow, Sandeep Sharma would go head-on to take his prized wicket.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar- Sanju Samson

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is one of the top bowlers for India, regardless of the format he plays.

As he looks to attack the batsmen, he would want to get rid of Rajasthan’s skipper Sanju Samson early. The Rajasthan Royals skipper looked in good touch in last match. If fit, then Bhuvneshwar will hold the key for the 2016 champions.

Rashid Khan- David Miller

Rashid Khan is currently the number one T20 bowler. He would look to dominate everyone, especially South Africa’s David Miller. While Miller is the key for Rajasthan Royals, he has something to prove to selectors, especially with the World Cup ahead.

Rashid would be aiming to exploit Miller’s weakness against spin. This battle could be one of the crucial ones of the match.

David Warner- Jaydev Unadkat

David Warner is having a very poor season in this edition. In the previous game against Chennai Super Kings, he reached his 50th fifty but his strike-rate was poot. He would look to score quickly but the job looks tough. Jaydev Unadkat has been in fine form for the Rajasthan Royals, helping them to a win against Delhi Capitals. It will be a close contest

Jonny Bairstow- Chris Morris

This battle could set the tone for the entire match. Jonny Bairstow has been in good form this IPL. He has a great average and also scores his runs at a stunning strike rate of 142.1. Chris Morris is RR’s leading bowler in IPL 2021. He has picked 11 wickets in 6 matches at an economy rate of just over 7. The player who gets on top in this contest might dictate the course of the match for their respective teams.
