Both Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders are under pressure after losing three of their opening four matches to this edition of the IPL. The Rajasthan Royals outfit are struggling badly and their only win came thanks to some heroics down the order against Delhi Capitals. There are very few positives for them right now and their bad luck with injuries is certainly affecting them. They face a KKR side that has issues of their own. However, in Mumbai, will strongly fancy their chances of racking up a big score. There were some positives despite their loss last time against Chennai Super Kings. They are tipped to snap this poor form and get the win to compound the Royals’ miseries.

HERE ARE THE PREDICTED LINEUPS:

RAJASTHAN ROYALS:

Sanju Samson (captain): After a brilliant start this edition, Samson’s issues with consistency still persist. Failed to trouble the scoresheet in previous 3 matches, he will look to score some big runs against KKR

Jos Buttler (WK): One of the best opening batsmen in white ball cricket, Buttler will be looking to continue his form against KKR.

Yashasvi Jaiswal: The youngster hasn’t featured in this edtion of IPL. Manan Vohra failed to make his mark in the previous games, so Yashasvi will be eyeing to nail this opportunity.

David Miller: He has not been the same batsmen we knew over the years, with his experience and power, his performances can be the turning point for RR this season.

Riyan Parag: He has failed to turn his good starts into big scores. Riyan has the ability and skill to play some wonderful strokes. His contribution at the back end of innings will be quite crucial.

Rahul Tewatia: With a brilliant knock of 40 in 23 balls helped RR put on a target against RCB. Making a positive impact for the first time this edition, Tewatia will look to continue his form.

Chris Morris: The big money signing, Morris still needs to prove his worth. Helped them to a win against Delhi Capitals, other than that he has been stealth.

Shivam Dube: An excellent innings against RCB scoring 46 off 32 balls, helped RR to regain control after they were down to 31-5.

Shreyas Gopal: Played his first match against RCB this edition. Shreyas Gopal was primarily brought in to counter Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers but failed. RR will be hoping for their star spinner to bag some wickets against KKR.

Mustafizur Rahman: The Fizz has been expensive this year, going at almost 9.5 each match. RR will be wanting him to pick up wickets in the power play overs.

Chetan Sakariya: This young boy continues to impress, with his lovely bowling action and wrist postion. He looks like the ‘find’ of this IPL season.

KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS:

Nitish Rana: His excellent start to this season has proved him to be a top player. However, his form had dipped in the previous 2 matches, getting out quite cheaply. He will be eyeing to get back in form and scoring runs top of the order.

Shubman Gill: After an impressive debut for the National team in Australia, Gill has not been able to get going in this IPL. He will be under immense pressure to get runs, to prove the selectors his worth for the upcoming T20 world cup.

Rahul Tripathi: He has been one of the most important batsmen for KKR this season alongside Nitish Rana. With his exquisite timing and placement, Rahul is a dangerous batsman once he settles in.

Eoin Morgan (captain): No impact whatsoever in this IPL, Morgan has failed with the bat and as a captain too. Just one win in four games has started to cause concern in the KKR dugout.

Sunil Narine: Played his first match of this edition against CSK in Mumbai, Narine could not get much service from the pitch, will be exciting to see him go up against the RR batsmen.

Dinesh Karthik (WK): With an excellent cameo in what looked like a lost cause, Karthik (40) alongside Dre Russ and Pat Cummins almost got KKR over the line, chasing a mammoth total of 221.

Andre Russell: We witnessed some pure power hitting in the match against CSK. That is the Dre Russ we know. An unfortunate dismissal brought his innings to an end, else KKR would have been in touching distance of the CSK total.

Pat Cummins: His magnificent knock with the bat against CSK proved his ability. He has failed to get wickets this IPL but KKR will be eager for him to step up and lead the attack.

Kamlesh Nagarkoti: Played his first match this edition against CSK, managed to only bowl 2 overs and conceding 25 runs. He will look to make a better impact against RR.

Varun Chakravarthy: Not such a ‘mystery’ spinner anymore, Varun has been expensive this IPL. He has 4 wickets to his name with an economy of 8.6.

Prasidh Krishna: He came into this IPL on a high after his performances for India against England. However, the youngster has a lot to learn. It will be exciting to watch him through this process of improvement.
