Having restricted Mumbai Indians to 138, Delhi Capitals started off strongly with Shikhar Dhawan and Steve Smith putting on a solid partnership. Despite a fightback from Mumbai Indians, Lalit Yadav played with maturity and got Delhi Capitals over the line. The win has pushed Delhi Capitals to the second spot behind Royal Challengers Bangalore.
