The 2022 T20 Women’s Asia Cup started on October 1, with seven teams taking part in the tournament – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE, Malaysia and Thailand. A total of 24 matches will take place with the final match to be played on October 16 as well. However, all the matches will be played at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium and Sylhet Outer Cricket Stadium.

Team India will take on their arch-rivals Pakistan Women in the next fixture of their campaign on October 7, Friday. India have been in formidable form as they recently beat England on their own soil in the ODI series by 3-0 whereas they did well in the T20I series as well. On the other hand, Pakistan are likely to play their best game in the tournament as well. Moreover, they have started with a win also.
