India will take on Barbados in the Group A match of the Commonwealth Games 2022 at the Edgbaston, Birmingham on Wednesday. Both India and Barbados have won one out of their two matches. But India sit at the second spot in the points table ahead of Barbados due to their superior Net Run Rate. A win for India will strengthen their chance of qualifying for the next round.

India started their campaign with a three-wicket loss to Australia but bounced back strongly with a eight-wicket win over Pakistan while Barbados won their first game against Pakistan before losing their second match against Australia. It will be a do-or-die contest for both the sides to stay in contention for qualifying into the next round.
