Bangladesh will face India in the second ODI of the three-match series on Wednesday, December 7th, in Dhaka. This is the first bilateral one-day international series between the two teams in six years. Both teams were hit with injuries on the eve of the series. Both of these teams have incredible bench strength. Bangladesh lost their previous ODI series to Zimbabwe and went in and out of the T20 World Cup. They did, however, win the first ODI on Sunday and will now attempt to win a second consecutive bilateral series against India.
After more than five months, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, and Virat Kohli are playing together in an ODI series. With Shami out, this series will be an excellent opportunity for Kuldeep Sen and Umran Malik to establish themselves. This series will be treated by India as a dress rehearsal for the ODI World Cup in 2023. India began as a favourite. However, Bangladesh surprised the men in blue in the first ODI, and with them playing at home, they will undoubtedly be a force to be reckoned with.
