England will host India for the third T20I at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham on July 10. The T20I series will commence after the rescheduled fifth and final Test match between India and England at the Edgbaston, Birmingham from July 1. The T20I series will be an important preparation for both the sides ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022 in October.
England will host India in the first of a three-match T20I series at The Rose Bowl in Southampton on July 7. The series will be a test for some young talents on both sides. India and England are among the favourites to win the T20 World Cup 2022 and the series will help them to analyze their best XI and strengthen their sides further.

The visiting Indian side have played three T20I at Trent Bridge, Nottingham in 2019. But it will be the first match that they will play against England at the venue. Their last three matches at Trent Bridge came against Bangladesh, South Africa and Ireland. India captain Rohit Sharma, incidentally, holds a good batting record in the shortest format at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.
