Women’s cricket has been added to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games (CWG) which is slated to begin at the Edgbaston Stadium on July 29. On the other hand, the bronze and gold medal matches will be played on August 7 as well. While Team India will take on Australia in the inaugural match at Edgbaston in Birmingham, Pakistan will take on Barbados later at the same venue as well. However, the 3rd match of the Commonwealth Games 2022 will take place between New Zealand women and South Africa Women at Edgbaston in Birmingham on July 30, Saturday.
Both New Zealand Women and South Africa Women are expected to pose a tough fight in the game. While New Zealand Women lost two games and won two in their last five matches, South Africa Women lost three and won two as well. However, New Zealand Women will have the upper hand as South Africa Women won’t get the service of a few of their key players. But the young bridged is ready to give a tough fight too. It will be interesting to see who will have the last laugh in the game.
