Bangladesh will lock horns with Ireland in the third and final T20I on the 31st of March once again in Chattogram. Bangladesh have already taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the series in would be looking for a clear sweep. Ireland on the other hand have been below par through the T20I series and would want to finish the series on a positive note with a win. The home side hammered Ireland in the T20I series opener in a rain-shortened affair at the same venue twice. It was the Bangladeshi batters who laid the foundation of the victory for the home side as they managed to put up a daunting total of 207 runs in the 1st T20I followed by another 200 in following game. The visitors were set a revised target of 104 runs to chase in just eight overs due to rain, and even though the Irish batters fell well short of the target.

The surface at Chattogram has been a belter, batters have enjoyed their time in the middle in the T20I series opener just a couple of days ago. The team winning the toss would be inclined to bat first and put the runs on the board to exert pressure on the opposition. Litton Das once again set the tone for Bangladesh at the top of the order. He smashed 47 off just 23 deliveries as Bangladesh managed 81 runs during the powerplay, their highest ever in T20Is. In the bowling department, Taskin Ahmed has been very impressive. The pacer has exploited the conditions very well. He has grabbed 17 wickets and become the leader of the attack for Bangladesh. The 3rd T20I promises to be another exciting contest between these two strong sides at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
