Bangladesh will face Afghanistan in the third match at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah on Tuesday. Bangladesh and Afghanistan are placed in the Group B of Asia Cup 2022 alongside Sri Lanka. Bangladesh will look to get off the mark in their first match of the continental event while Afghanistan will look to add to their momentum.

Afghanistan steamrolled Sri Lanka by eight wickets in their inaugural contest of the Asia Cup 2022 and will be high on confidence while entering their second game. However, they will be wary of the unpredictable Bangladesh side, which will be led by premier all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan. Afghanistan opener Hazratullah Zazai and Rahmanullah Gurbaz alongside medium pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi will look to continue their fine performance in the match.
