Australia Women will play against India Women in the 1st Semi-final of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 at Newlands in Cape Town on Thursday, February 23. South Africa is the host of the mega event where the event begins on February 10th with a match between South Africa and Sri Lanka. However, Australia are the defending champion where the final Women’s T20 World Cup match was played in early 2020 at the MCG to watch the hosts Australia beat India by 85 runs. A record number of 86,174 spectators were present there as well.

However, most of the games, including both semifinals and the final game, will take place in Newlands as well. While Australia are the firm favourite, other teams will give a tough fight too and they have already shown their potential in the tournament.
