Akeal Hosein is an international cricketer who plays for West Indies in limited overs cricket. Born on 25th April 1993, Hosein plays for Trinidad and Tobago in domestic cricket. He also plays for the Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) as well. In December 2020, Hosein was named in the West Indies One Day International (ODI) squad to face Bangladesh. He made his ODI debut against Bangladesh on 20th January 2021. His all-round performances in the domestic circle caught the attention of the selectors.
