Mikey Williams scored 23 points to lead the Tropang GIGA, including 5 triples. In contrast, Aaron Fuller pulled down 22 rebounds in addition to his 16 points, helping TNT win its third straight game. Gilas veterans Roger Pogoy and Ryan Reyes, who both contributed 16 points, had a significant influence on the Texters as well. Only in the closing 2:25 of the game did the Batang Pier manage to cut the gap to 100-113 before the balanced Beermen charge put an end to the contest.

While San Miguel took sole possession of the lead with a 6-1 record, Santos’ leadership and Roi Sumang’s 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists were unable to prevent the Batang Pier from slipping to a 2-5 record and it is possible that this time the game may go in their favor.
