Saudi Arabia will take on Indonesia in the FIBA Asia Cup on July 12. The FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup, which will begin on Wednesday in Singapore, will include the Indian Senior Men’s Basketball squad. For the Men’s event, there will be a total of 30 teams competing from all around Asia. In Qualifying Draw E, sixth-seeded India will compete against 15th-seeded Turkmenistan and 25th-seeded Palestinian Territory. India will play both of the aforementioned teams on July 7. The Indian team is placed 10th in the women’s competition and will compete against teams like Palestinian Territory (20th seed) and New Zealand (the seed). On July 7, the women’s matches will also be played.

The victors of the 3×3 Asia Cup will get a special award in the form of a spot in the 2023 FIBA 3×3 World Cup. In the Women’s competition, Kazakhstan and Papua New Guinea will square off in the opening game. On July 7, both the men’s and women’s teams set off on their respective journeys, playing their opening matches against the Palestinian Territory.
