The Perth vs Adelaide 2022 International Club Friendly Games match will take place on September 11, i.e on Sunday. The Georgian Basketball Federation thanked the Georgian Government, sponsors, supporters, journalists, volunteers, and everyone else engaged in the organization of the Group A games of the FIBA EuroBasket 2022, which were held for the first time in the nation’s capital of Tbilisi on Friday. During its co-hosting of the FIBA EuroBasket 2022, the biggest basketball competition on the European continent, from September 1–7, Tbilisi captured the attention of the entire globe. The competition’s Group A games, which included the national teams of Georgia, Spain, Turkey, Belgium, Bulgaria, and Montenegro, were played in the recently finished, 10,000-seat multipurpose Tbilisi Arena facility. Construction on the building was finished this year.
Spain, Turkey, Belgium, and Montenegro made it out of group A, but Georgia and Bulgaria were unable to advance. The European Championship, which took place in Tbilisi and the co-hosting cities of Milan, Cologne, Berlin, and Prague in September, attracted “hundreds of thousands” of fans in the host city and millions more viewers on television, according to the GBF, who also claimed that “well-known” sports journalists and bloggers, as well as supporters of the competing teams, high-ranking visitors, and government delegates.

On Friday, the FIBA also tweeted its gratitude to all the capital cities that co-hosted the EuroBasket, including Tbilisi, the country’s capital. The Georgian Basketball Federation (GBF) recently received recognition from the International Basketball Federation for the “outstanding organization” of the Division B FIBA Under 20 European Basketball Championship. The U20 championship also represents a move up in stature from prior international FIBA competitions in Tbilisi, including the 33 U18 European Championship and U16 Challengers between boys and girls.
