NSH Mountain Gold Timika vs West Bandits Solo IBL Indonesia Playoffs, Quarterfinal will take place on August 16, i.e on Tuesday at C-TRA Arena Bandung. Dewa United Surabaya never gave up, trailing for three quarters they were able to equalize, 74-74 at the end of the fourth quarter, and finally won extra time against Prawira Bandung, 89-84 in the second match of the 2022 IBL Play Offs at C-Tra Arena Bandung, Sunday, August 14th. This result makes the two teams have to fight again in the decisive match, Tuesday, August 16. Zoran Talley Jr scored a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds for Dewa. Kaleb Ramot Gemilang scored 19 points and David Seagers had 12 points. Dennis Miles Jr scored a double-double for Prawira with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Abraham Damar Grahita scored 22 points. Reaza Guntara scored 14 points. Yudha Saputera scored 11 points and Hans Abraham contributed 10 points. Prawira opened four points through Damar and Kenneth Wormley. Nikholas Mahesa started Dewa’s points and Talley’s dunk equalized. Five minutes early, Prawira led 9-6 and closed the first quarter with a 27-18 advantage.
In the second quarter, Prawira was able to maintain the margin, having taken a 14-point lead in the first five minutes, 36-22, Prawira finally closed the first half with a nine-point advantage, 41-32. Dewa got hotter in the third quarter. In the first five minutes of the quarter, Prawira had a seven-point lead, 48-41. This margin continued to hold until the third quarter was over. Prawira still leads by seven points, 60-53. In the last quarter, Dewa is still consistent. David Seagers and Xaverius Prawiro 59-60. Reza and Miles keep the difference, Seagers again close the distance. Successive numbers from Miles and Damar made Prawira away 70–61. Reza added it, but Jamar Johnson’s three points play as well as two free throws and one Dio Saputra lay-up as well as a lay-up and a free throw from Kaleb made the match tense, 72-72. Reza’s two free throws were returned by Jamarr’s lay-up and ended the fourth quarter with a draw of 74-74. Yudha opened the scoring in the overtime round. Talley and Kaleb put Dewa back into an 80-76 lead. Nikholas replied to Miles’ two points. Alan As’adi’s three-point shot lifted Prawira’s spirit. Abraham Damar was even able to equalize, 84-84 but the Seagers were able to make Dewa take the lead again. Kaleb then sealed Dewa’s victory, 89-84.
