New Zealand vs England Commonwealth Games, Basketball 3×3 will be held on July 30. Birmingham 2022 has made available the complete schedule for the Basketball 3×3 and Wheelchair Basketball 3×3 competitions. In the running form of the game, eight men’s teams and eight women’s teams will play, while in the inaugural Wheelchair Basketball 3×3 competition at the Commonwealth Games, six men’s teams and six women’s teams will. The opening group game faces the Canadian men’s squad against Kenya on Friday, July 29. Australia and Scotland will then compete in the women’s tournament. The men’s squad will face South Africa, and the women’s team will play Kenya in the opening session of the wheelchair basketball 3×3 competition.
The men play Canada, the women play Sri Lanka, and the women’s wheelchair team faces Australia during the second session of the day. The men’s and women’s running basketball teams will face off against New Zealand in the first session of day two, and the men’s wheelchair basketball 3×3 team will face off against Malaysia. The Australian team will have a full day on day three since both wheelchair teams will play in the evening session, which will be followed by the final group match between the men’s running team and England.

On Sunday, July 31, after the conclusion of the group matches, the quarterfinals and semifinals will be played. On Tuesday, August 2, the afternoon session will include the classification and bronze medal matches, while the evening session will feature the gold medal matches. The president of International Wheelchair Basketball said, “We are happy to be working with Commonwealth Sport and Birmingham 2022 to deliver the 3X3 Competition at the upcoming Commonwealth Games. Wheelchair basketball has already seen substantial development and levels of engagement thanks in large part to the Commonwealth movement. Additionally, it has improved our connection with FIBA, and the program is expected to include some outstanding performances.
