The Netherlands will take on Hungary in the 2022 FIBA U-20 Women’s European Championship on July 9. They have won two of their first four group games, two games more than Hungary and the Netherlands, who are hosting on Saturday. There are 4 different team groups: A, B, C, and D. Group A is made up of the Czech Republic, France, Hungary, and the Netherlands. Coming to Group B, it has Finland, Italy, Belgium, and Sweden. Whereas Group C has Lithuania, Spain, Bulgaria, and Poland. Finally, for Group D we have Ireland, Portugal, and Serbia with Latvia completing the line-up.

Of the top performers of previous years, Kamila Borkowska was one of the leading honorees with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Magdalena Szymkiewicz also pulled through as a top performer snagging 28 points and 6 assists. Together they managed to form a powerful team that competed against others. The remainder of their counterparts included Illaria Panzera, Eszter Madar, llyana Georgieva, Nevena Vuckovic, Alicja Rogozinska, and Weronika Piechowiak. By country by country comparison after the tournament ended based on overall performance the winner was Poland with 90 points followed by Spain, Bulgaria, Portugal, Latvia, Serbia, Czech Republic, etc., but in contrast, Sweden, Ireland, and Lithuania came in last place with fewest points overall.
