Portugal improved their record to 1-3 by defeating Great Britain’s Under-18 team 67-49 at the FIBA U18 Women’s European Championship. In the third period, Portugal increased their lead. Great Britain had a slim lead—one point—at the half, but they were unable to hold it against the unbeaten Group A victors, dropping them into the 9-18 Classification groups and delaying their promotion until the following summer.
