The duo advanced into six finals and celebrated victories in the Bitburger Open in Germany and the Scottish Open and two Continental circuits in Portugal and Belgium. Their teamwork peaked at the 2016 Thomas Cup in China, where they played a pivotal role in Denmark’s victory over Indonesia. In the 2018 European Championships, they were awarded an uncontested victory when their compatriots withdrew due to injury. Their triumph at the China Open, saw them ascend to the fifth spot in the BWF rankings.
