The 35th Amgen Singelloop Breda 2022 will be conducted as a street run through Breda’s historic district and alongside its canals on October 2, 2022. The road running competition is held annually. The 5 km, 10 km, half marathon, and family run constitute the Amgen Singelloop Breda’s run. The 5 km Walking & Wheeling has been introduced this year, and is aimed specifically at persons who cannot or choose not to run but want to participate in the unique atmosphere of the Breda. Nicholas Korir of Kenya set the fastest time in the 2016 men’s event with a timing of 59.50. His compatriot Naom Jebet set the women’s record in 2019 with a timing of 1:08.16.

1) Half Marathon:
The Amgen Singelloop Breda half marathon is split into two parts: the Moore DRV Half Marathon Performance Run and the Run2Day Breda Half Marathon Competition Run.
Start location: Claudius Prinsenlaan (near the City Office).
Finish location: Grote Markt, the winners are taken to the runners’ quarter on the Kasteelplein after crossing the finish line.
Start Time: 2 p.m., both for the competition run and the performance run.
2) 10K Performance Run
Start location: Claudius Prinsenlaan (near the City Office).
Finish location: Grote Markt
Start time of the groups at: 12.15 pm, 12.31 pm and 12.47 pm.
3) 5km Performance Run
Start location: Claudius Prinsenlaan (near the City Office).
Finish location: Grote Markt
Start time of the groups at: 11 a.m., 11:16 a.m. and 11:32 a.m.
4) 5km Walking & Wheeling
Start location: Claudius Prinsenlaan, near the Municipal Office.
Finish location: Grote Markt
Starting Time: 10.45 am.
Finish Time: Before 12:40 pm.
5) Child Help Family Run
Joint warm-up starts with the Party Team at around 4:15 pm. The starting gun sounds at 4:30 pm. While the runners for 2 or 3 laps will begin in the blue box at 4:40 pm.
