Noah Lyles is one of the most exciting athletes on the United States track and field team, from winning world titles to dying his hair. Noah competes in the 100 and 200 meter sprints. He earned the 200 m bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and is a two-time World champion, having won the race at the 2019 and 2022 World Athletics Championships. Lyles also captured the gold and silver medals in the 4 X 100 m relay at these Championships. He has personal bests of 9.86 seconds for the 100 m and 19.31 seconds for the 200 m, the latter an American record that puts him third on the global all-time chart.

Lyles competed in the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials shortly after graduating from high school, and was committed to running for the University of Florida at the time. However, after finishing fourth at the Trials, he opted to forego his NCAA eligibility and turn professional. Lyles ran the 200-meter in 19.50 seconds in 2019, making him the second-fastest American and the fourth-fastest man in the event’s history. He won gold medals in the 200 meters and the 4×100-meter relay at the 2019 World Championships in Doha, Qatar.
