Kevin Mayer is a French track and field athlete who excels in the decathlon and heptathlon. In the decathlon competition, he won the world championships twice, in 2022 and 2017. He had a rough start at the 2022 World Championships in Oregon, coming in sixth on the first day. But with time, he made progress and on the last day, he won the pole vault and the javelin to take home his second gold medal.
