Jemma Reekie is a Scottish middle-distance runner who competes for Great Britain in international competitions. She represented Scotland at the Commonwealth Games 2022, having finished fifth in the finals. Jemma Reeky was born to Jared and Morna Reeky on March 6, 1998 in Kilbarchan, Renfrewshire, Scotland. She has an older brother and a younger sister named Hope. Jemma was a calm, intellectual, and sweet child, however, was also tough and determined. Jemma also loved horseback riding and playing hockey. She fell in love with athletics when she joined Mrs. Duncan’s cross country squad in P5 at the Beith Primary School when she was nine years old. By the time Jemma was done with primary school, she had made the decision to pursue running.
