Ealey began her athletic career as a professional shot-putter. In 2013, she competed in the USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championship, representing the Oklahoma State Cowgirls at Drake Stadium (Drake University), the Big 12 Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship at Iowa State University and Baylor University, and the 2013 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championship at the University of Oregon. She participated at the Big 12 Conference outdoor track and field championships held at Texas Tech University and Iowa State University in 2014 and 2015, as well as the NCAA Division I outdoor and indoor track and field championships held at the University of Oregon and the University of Arkansas, respectively.
