Famous professional wrestler Frankie Kazarian, also known as Frank Gerdelman, has enthralled crowds with his spectacular matches. Kazarian, who was born on August 4, 1977, in Palm Springs, California, has established himself in a number of wrestling competitions by demonstrating his agility and technical skill. Kazarian has worked for a number of promotions throughout the course of his career, including the WWE and AEW.
Kazarian made his debut in 1998 against Freight Train Dan after just one month of training under Killer Kowalski. Kazarian then returned to California and started to wrestle in the independent circuit. During his days in the independent circuit, he mainly performed under Ultimate Pro Wrestling where he formed a tag team called Evolution along with a wrestler called Nova.
During this time, Kazarian not only managed to become the Millennium Pro Wrestling (MPW) World Champion by defeating both Christopher Daniels and Adam Pearce in a three-way match. But he and Nova managed to become the Ultimate Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions. In 2002, Evolution went to Japan to represent UPW but was defeated by WWE stars Edge and Christian. Kazarian has also been friends with John Cena and Samoa Joe since his UPW days.
Frankie Kazarian became familiar with Impact Wrestling President Jeff Jarrett and Scott D’Amore who then invited him for a tryout. He accepted the invitation and joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. He joined TNA in 2003 and began chasing the TNA X Division Championship, he even managed to become a part of the first-ever Ultimate X match that took place on August 20, 2003.
Kazarian would shortly leave TNA in 2005 and join the WWE. But he’d soon make his TNA return on July 16, 2006, during a Victory Road event where he’d lose to the TNA X Division Champion Senshi. His next TNA run would continue till 2014. Kazarian has appeared in numerous promotions including numerous regional promotions, Impact Wrestling as well as big-time competitors like AEW and WWE.
