Garrett Griffith is an American pro wrestler who was born in Georgia, USA and then shortly moved to North Carolina. Not much about his early life is known other than the fact that he attended North Davidson High School in North Carolina and graduated from there in 2016.
During his high school days, he used to play American football as a wide receiver. After high school, he went to attend Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina from where he graduated in 2020. Even during his college days, he played American Football for the Guilford Quakers.
Griff Garrison underwent his professional wrestling training under LaBron Kozone and soon made his debut in 2016. During his initial days, he wrestled for Fire Star Pro Wrestling in his very own state of North Carolina. And he even appeared in many regional promotions like Anarchy Wrestling and Southern Fried Championship Wrestling and gathered quite a few championship titles for himself. In 2019, he started appearing in Ring of Honor.
In June 2020, Garrison began wrestling for the AEW by appearing on AEW Dynamite and AEW Dark, he started his AEW career as a jobber. Later in July 2020, he started a tag team duo named “Varsity Blonds”. Soon after their tag team debut, Varsity Blonds went on to compete in the AEW tag team division against teams like FTR, Private Party as well as Proud and Powerful. They even got a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship title against the Young Bucks. The championship match happened on May 2021 and ended in Varsity Blonds’ loss.
In July 2021, Garrison along with Pillman were both signed into AEW. Soon after their official signing, they started feuding with Malakai Black. Their feud ended up in a tag team match between Varsity Blonds and Kings of the Black Throne. The match once again ended up in Varsity’s loss.
Griff Garrison is really fresh and upcoming talent in the AEW and has consistently appeared in AEW events. His fanbase is steadily growing due to his good looks, charming personality outside the ring, and in-ring charisma. Amidst all this fans have been questioning whether he is in a relationship or not.
