Antonio Ogogo, known as Anthony Ogogo, is a British professional boxer turned professional wrestler. Anthony Ogogo was born on November 24, 1988, in Lowestoft, Suffolk, England.

Ogogo’s boxing career started when he was a young boy and joined a neighborhood club in his area. His devotion and innate athleticism eventually shone through, resulting in a streak of wins in amateur contests. His breakout moment occurred at the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in Delhi, India. Ogogo, who competed for England, won a silver medal in the middleweight category, displaying his promise in the global arena.

Ogogo became a professional in 2011, joining renowned boxing promoter Golden Boy Promotions, driven by his achievements. Ogogo defeated Kieron Grey with ease in his professional debut thanks to a deadly combination of speed, power, and ring intelligence. His early professional career saw a string of victories following this one.

Ogogo’s journey did not come without difficulties, either. During a battle with Craig Cunningham in 2014, he suffered severe damage to his Achilles tendon. Due to this setback, he had to have several surgeries and go through a lengthy rehabilitation process, which forced him to stop his boxing career. Ogogo showed incredible fortitude and determination in the face of the setback, making a victorious return to the ring in 2016. Ogogo has suffered many setbacks in his boxing career but he never gave up on the sport he loved with his heart. But in 2017 Ogogo was registered blind, eye specialists told him that he was blind and should retire from boxing. Ogogo thought maybe after eye surgery he can get back inside the boxing ring but couldn’t. And Ogogo retired from boxing which is loved so much and later joined AEW after getting trained by Cody and Q.T. Marshall at The Nightmare Factory.

Casey Wicks is an English teacher who married Anthony Ogogo in 2017. Anthony was in Vegas for a boxing match when he started missing her and realized that she is the person he loves the most. During the 2012 Olympics Ogogo’s mother suddenly suffered a brain hemorrhage and nearly died. Casey took care of her in his absence. Ogogo met her during swimming classes when he was 6, they started dating when they were 15. There’s not much known about Casey as she keeps her social media private.
