Kazarian, who was born on August 4, 1977, in Palm Springs, California, has established himself in a number of wrestling competitions by demonstrating his agility and technical skill. Frankie Kazarian’s infatuation with pro wrestling started pretty early on in his life. Growing up in South California he developed a passion for the art of pro wrestling and started pursuing a career in it. Allegedly he was inspired by watching pro wrestlers perform on television.
Kazarian made his debut in 1998 against Freight Train Dan after just one month of training under Killer Kowalski. Kazarian then returned to California and started to wrestle in the independent circuit. During his days in the independent circuit, he mainly performed under Ultimate Pro Wrestling where he formed a tag team called Evolution along with a wrestler called Nova.
During this time, Kazarian not only managed to become the Millennium Pro Wrestling (MPW) World Champion by defeating both Christopher Daniels and Adam Pearce in a three-way match. But he and Nova managed to become the Ultimate Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions. In 2002, Evolution went to Japan to represent UPW but was defeated by WWE stars Edge and Christian. Kazarian has also been friends with John Cena and Samoa Joe since his UPW days.
Kazarian joined the promotion in 2003 and rapidly established himself with his technical prowess and reckless performances. Several noteworthy accomplishments, including repeatedly winning the X Division Championship, characterized Kazarian’s TNA career. He won over fans all over the world with his captivating persona and thrilling fights.
Kazarian would shortly leave TNA in 2005 and join the WWE. But he’d soon make his TNA return on July 16, 2006, during a Victory Road event where he’d lose to the TNA X Division Champion Senshi. His next TNA run would continue till 2014. Kazarian has appeared in numerous promotions including numerous regional promotions, Impact Wrestling as well as big-time competitors like AEW and WWE.
